I'm Alain: better known as the Kilted Chef! I've travelled the world from kitchens to convention centres sharing my love of food with people near and far but nothing brings me more joy than cooking with local foods and inspiring home cooks across the world to embrace the joy of cooking local - wherever that is!
In my 35 years + (let's not do the math) as a Chef, I've learned that everyone can learn to cook... and I'm honoured to be part of that journey with you.

What's the difference between a monthly and annual membership?
The main difference is the price. Annual members get 2 months for free! Annual members also get a special welcome gift when they join.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. When you join monthly, you can cancel at any time. Annual memberships will not be refunded but you can cancel at the end of your billing cycle. NOTE: If you cancel your membership, your access to all Brigade materials will finish at the end of your current 30-day cycle.
Does my location matter?
Absolutely not! You can join from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection you can be part of the community!
What if I can't attend the live class?
All classes and workshops are recorded so if you can't attend live, no problem. Classes, workshops and office hours will all live in the private community so you can watch anytime.
Will the membership fees change?
As long as you maintain an active membership, the fee (yearly or monthly) you paid when you signed up will be honored, and when prices increase, your fees will not be affected.
How do I know it's for me?
Do you love food? Then it's for you. If you want to sharpen your cooking skills, learn new techniques and take your home cooking to the next level - The Brigade is for you!
